Pois bem, muita gente fica em dúvida sobre quando
utilizar este tempo verbal, muitas vezes confundindo com o Simple Past. Neste post vou
apresentar o Simple past, sendo que no próximo irei abordar a diferença entre os dois usos.
SIMPLE PAST
Verbo no passado (2ª coluna)
Descreve uma ação ocorrida no passado,
num tempo específico.

Exemplos:
Did you go to the theater last
night?
No, I
went to the club. (last night)
He lived in the USA
for two years
She studied Spanish
when she was a child.
They waited for him for two
hours.
